default
Posted on Mon, 16 Jun 2014
Question: Hello, I had a urinalysis done and here are the results. Urine culture negative.
I have been having white/pinkish discharge sine my last period 10 days ago.
I went to the urologist and they did another urine analysis on May 16 and it only showed a trace of blood. What do you think this is and what should I do next?

Brief Answer:
Could be due to mild inflammation of Bladder,

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts and all the reports of blood and urine analysis that you have posted it appears that you have presence of 2+ RBC in urine .

Since you had your menstrual period very recently the RBC detected on urine analysis could be due to mild inflammation of urinary bladder due to generalised congestion of all the pelvic organs during menstrual cycle..

It is insignificant and not to be worried about.

Please take take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily for a week.

Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
