What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: Hello
As per my lmp I m 9 week 2 dayz pregnant but my ultrasound shows only 5 week 4 dayz .

my periods are irregular I have done iui on 28th April 2016. saw faint line in pregnancy kit on 15th may. done blood test first shows level 78 then after 72 hrs it rise up to 182 then after one week 1382.

Gestical sac is there only size 16 .6 mm with no yolk sac & heartbeat.
doctor told me to have another ultrasound in next 2 weeks.

I m very confused.

what should I do.
Plz advice

I understand your concerns about pregnancy.

Unfortunately your pregnancy is not viable and cannot be saved. This baby is unlikely to grow further.

I suggest you be prepared to hear this bad news during next ultrasound scan and undergo abortion.

should I go with lmp or by ultrasound becoz as per my gyne she said everything looks ok as per 5 weeks & 4 dayz
heartbeat and yolk sac will appear in 6th week

Hi,

Better option to go by LMP as IUI is done as per LMP. Your fetal growth is stuck at 5 weeks and stopped growing. Hence ultrasound gestational age is irrelevant.

By my experience I believe this is not going to grow further.

Hi,

Yes. Even after 2 weeks ultrasound scan is likely to show same growth as now.

You can stop medicines so that there is abortion by bleeding. You can go for next IUI only after abortion.

I m taking folic acid, dhuphaston twice & obimet 500

which medicine should I stop

in future can I become pregnant again with iui

can miscarriage happen using medicine if yes which medicine should I take or I need to go for D&C

this was my first child that too after 3 and a half year of marriage

I have only one open tube , have done lapo also with ovarian drilling and one fibroid on the corner towards right cornua

can I again become pregnant with iui or should I now go for ivf?

As of now stop all medicines and wait for periods to start naturally. Don't go for D&C.

If needed you can take medicines to terminate pregnancy.

IVF is better option for you next time.
