Brief Answer:
STOOL CULTURE TO KNOW THE CAUSE

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Please write something about the symptoms of the child in the follow up query.

Stool routine examination show that there might be some infection cause for such number of pus cells.
Stool culture and sensitivity is advocated by me to know the exact bug causing the problem and also exact drug required for the eradication of possible infection.
Probiotics to be continued they help in normalizing the helpful gut flora.

Please feel free for further clarification.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Normal range of pus cells 4 to 6 pus cells

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear
in a normal routine examination of stool usually we find 4 to 6 pus cells.
But if the pus cells are around 20 then we should suspect stomach infection. Stool culture is required in such situation to know the exact cause infection.
Any medicine should be taken under supervision of your pediatrician. Drugs are only effective when they given with proper recommended doses. (Ofloxacin to be given with doses of about 10 to 20 mg per kg in divided doses.

Hope the query is answered.
thanks
