Brief Answer:
Astigmatism

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.

This is astigmatism, where the the eye ball, not being completely round has different foc i,so you need power at different angles. Your right eye has a small+.25 spherical error as well to make it a compound error and left being .

You are too young at 28 to have long sightedness ,known as presbyopia which usually starts at about 40 years of age.

Small +25 spherical in one eye is a small spherical error which you have for distance.

You noticed difficulties for near while glasses are for distance as well because your distance requirements are much less as compared to your near work.

You will feel great relief with these glasses after 3-4 days of adjustment.

Brief Answer:
Astigmatism

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Good of you to get back to me.

These will take care of both long and short sight. These will be worn almost constantly and barring first few days will feel lot of relief by these glasses. Do not move around with these glasses on in the initial period as you will find floor and stairs uneven.

Use them for distance and near while sitting only. The initial problem will be over in a few days.

Regards
