What Does This Semen Analysis Indicate?
Question: Hi, I am XXXXXX. We have one child of 7 years old. We are trying for second child.
My wife have serial mis-carriages for past four years. She conceived 4 times but no growth in the baby and aborted naturally between 7 to 8 weeks stage.
Recently, I have done semen analysis twice and found the following results;
Volume - 3ml, Fructose - Positive, Sperm Count - 15million/ml, Rapid Progressive Motility - 10, Slow Progressive Motility - 20, non-progressive motility - 10, non-motile sperms - 60, Live Sperms - 70 and mentioned as "Oligoaesthenospermia"
While urinating I observed that sesation of urination continues long and some drops at the end always comes out later. Is this having any link to the above issue?
Is this the reason for mis-carriage? please suggest a solution

Brief Answer:
Semen analysis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read your query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) The urine drops at the end of urination is a normal phenomenon and has nothing to do with miscarriage.
2) Your sperm count and motility are less.
3) Get antioxidant medicines which will be useful for the improvement of semen parameters.
4) Your semen parameter could be a possibility in miscarriage.
5) You need to attach your wife's reports also for complete analysis.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
