Brief Answer:
Endocrinological disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Polycystic ovarian disease is basically an endocrinological disorder in which hormones in body are raised in such a manner that it leads to formation and growth of multiple follicles in ovary.
Usually in normal females only one follicle is formed in either of the ovary.
So in polycystic ovary there are multiple follicles visible as small cysts when seen on ultrasound.
It is a common disease but can have minimal to major effects on chances of conception and formation of baby.
In case you have any other question, I will be glad to answer.

Brief Answer:
Nothing much to worry

Detailed Answer:
As I told you that it can lead to problems in conception and deranged periods only especially in patients with mild PCOD.
As you already have kids so you need not to worry much but in case you are overweight then keep a check on your weight always as PCOD women who are overweight are prone to development of diabetes in future life.
All the best.
