Question: I had Xrays and they showed a "lamellated calcific density in the right lower pelvis measuring 1.5 cm." I have no symptoms of kidney stones or gallstones. What might this be?

Brief Answer:
arterosclerosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for the query.

On the pelvis x-ray such calcifications are usually an arterosclerosis in aorta or iliac arteries. Every person has some cholesterole deposits in arteries. Some deposits are more visible (it depends of the age mostly).
If you have any leg pains especially when walking, please consult vascular surgeaon and have arteries ultrasound done.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.

Regards.
