What Does This Follicular Study Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 12 May 2016
Question: I have PCOS and I'm on clomid(day2-6). On follicular study, i have one dominant on right and MSF on left. Took u/s on 16th day, and the size was 15mm in RO with MSF on left.Today's my day 18 and still the follicle size is 16mm. Any chance that the follicle might have regressed? Or any chance that it might grow slow and ovulate later? Is 16mm good for ovulation?

Kindly clear my doubts..

Brief Answer:
Ideal size is 18-22 mm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
The appropriate size of follicle is 18-23 mm to ovulation.
In your case chances of ovulation are less because at Day 18 size is less.
May be it get regression.
