Brief Answer:
Current ECG is not showing any acute event

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist from Fortis hospital.
Your current ECG is not showing any acute event. It is just showing that you had a heart attack earlier.
But what symptoms did you have. If they were relevant enough, you require a angiography. There are certain test which are indirect markers of a cardiac event. This includes blood test like cardiac troponin, any change in echo findings as compared to previous echo.
So considering all this in mind we go for further evaluation.
Alternative to angio include CT coronary angio & stress tests. But if the above said tests (troponin &echo) are positive, we directly go for angio.
I hope you find this helpful.
Any further queries, I'll be happy to help.
Wishing you a good health

Thanks for response.

Angio is done and is normal.

Doctor conducted EPC also. It seems the response coming is only for 2sec for various simulations. We were told, if the response is for 15sec, then only it can be diagnosed for faster heart beat.

Further, they are suggesting for MRI cardiac.

After all this, now doctors have put ECG monitor for 24hrs monitoring.

Kindly advise, whether we should go for MRI cardiac.

Brief Answer:
Cardiac MRI depends on symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
When EP Study has not revealed any arrhythmia, i don't think holter will reveal any.
Cardiac MRI has very specific indications. I hope the cardiologist must have found out that reason & has ordered for that. Cardiac MRI is a good test & can reveal a lot of abnormalities that other tests can not. So you can go for it. I hope it to be all right too.
Attached ECG's are more or less similar. Their is no arrhythmia as per those ECG's. And the angio is normal is a good news.
Thanks
Dr Sameer Maheshwari
