Brief Answer:
Moderate Mitral Stenosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist from Fortis hospital.
As per your echo report you have a moderate mitral stenosis. From your previous question i also came to know that you also had a ballooning done earlier. Post ballooning patients generally remains fine. But they have to be in regular follow up with a cardiologist & echo done every 6month to a year to know the current status of valve.
Yours is a moderate Mitral stenosis currently which is generally well tolerated by patients. You just need to be medical treatment at present.
Keep taking your medications very carefully as they will help you in keeping symptoms free. Medicines should include a diuretic (for increasing urine output, to decrease the lung congestion), a beta blocker (to keep your heart rate low & prevent arrhythmia development) & penicillin (if cause of MS is rheumatic heart disease).
You should also keep fluid intake regulated as per your urine output. Intake should not exceed output.
So be stress free, be cheerful, follow the treatment & be in regular follow up with your cardiologist and you will be fine.
Thanks
Wishing you a healthy life.

Brief Answer:
I did not get the attached report

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX
I did not find the attachment with this question.
I just came to know from your previous questions that you are taking penicillin injection. This is very important for you to prevent disease progression & you must continue it till life long.
Other medication you can write again in the follow up question.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Please see detailed answer

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Good morning & welcome back.
I expected you were taking penicillin injection. Azithral is less effective than penicillin. Among penicillin too, injectable form is most effective & than comes oral penicillin.
So if you don't have allergy to penicillin I'll recommend you to take penicillin only.
Rest medicines are fine. You might need stronger diuretic (drug for decreasing pulmonary congestion through urine) in future if you have symptoms of breathlessness more frequently.
Thanks
