Question: Just curious about blood results and want some answers. I cant get into my doctor for a while but I have health anxiety and I don;t like to not know whats wrong wiht me. Its all I keep thinking about.

To add, the report is uploaded. My platelet count has been low since blood given in XXXXXXX of 2016 and blood was given July 2016. Same with red blood cell distribution and mean platelet count. I am a college student so my cholestorl has gotten high for I have gained weight and eating and dorm life I have struggled wiht. I have been fixing my diet ever since I was home for break.

The doctor said I had swollen lymph nodes. My face would get puffy. Indigestion. Under rib left side pain. Stomach pain. Hard time swallowing. etc. It comes and goes and like i said I have anxiety.

But with these same results what do I do? what further testing should I ask for? DO i have cancer? diease? Help

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Your lab results are perfectly healthy. Your platelets are only slightly low, which is normal. The MCV does not indicate anything wrong. Your cholesterol is acceptable, just slightly high. You do not need to make any changes. You are healthy.
