Brief Answer:
It suggests tuberculosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

After reading your reports, I conclude you are probably suffering from tuberculosis of lymph node with no other organ tuberculosis.

Tuberculosis of only lymph node may be seen . Though tubercular bacteria is not found in you but all other features are suggestive of tuberculosis.

For this you need to take a complete course of anti tubercular drugs (the duration depends on your symptoms and severity )and take multivitamins to improve your immunity. Avoid contact with people suffering from chronic cough.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further query is there I would love to help you.

Brief Answer:
It needs 6 months treatment minimum

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

If you don't have any open wound over the axilla with discharge then you won't spread the disease to your family.

The treatment is for 6 months and time may be extended depending on your response.

Seeing your CT scan it appears your tuberculosis is not severe and confined to lymph nodes. Not spread to lungs. Yes it is 100% curable don't worry.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help you.

Brief Answer:
It may infect

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Since you have stitches there chances are there it may infect others. So avoid close contact till it heals completely and skin is completely approximated.

The cause is usually the bacteria infected you through respiration and from lung went to lymph nodes. When the load of bacteria is low it won't affect lung but since lymph node is small they can infect them . Now you won't be having any bacteria in lungs.

The specialist doctor for this are called pulmonologist (chest and TB specialists).

Precautions needed are
- Improve immune system by eating heathy fruits and vegetables , doing exercise and multivitamins.
-take anti tubercular medication properly without fail.
-Have good ventilation in room .
-maintain good hygiene.
-avoid contact with suspected TB patients. Coughing and sneezing can spread the disease.

Hope I have answered your query. If any further queries are there I would love to help you.
