Question: I have a pt with an EKG report that says Sinus rhythm, LVH with IVCD, LAD and secondary repolorization what does this mean? She has a hx of HTN and high cholesterol.

Regarding your question, I would explain that LVH stands for Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (and this seems to be due to chronic uncontrolled hypertension).

Evidence of LVH is better shown by cardiac ultrasound test, but can also be traced by a simple resting ECG.

IVCD stands for Intraventricular Conduction Delay.

LAD stands for Left axis deviation, which means that LAFB (Left Anterior Fascicular Block) is present.

This clinical picture seems to be drawn by chronic hypertension, leading to left ventricular hypertrophy.

It is necessary an optimal medical management of hypertension and dyslipidemia.
