Brief Answer:
This means an inflammatory process and NOT a tumor

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
First of all I would like to know the lab reports as that alone can help me to tell you something in detail.

Well, there is nothing like the wall of pancreas.
This misnomer is used to indicate that the peripheral part of the pancreas is thicker than the rest of it. This is a process seen in pancreatitis , meaning inflammation of the pancreas.

Thickening DOES NOT mean a tumor. This is not a tumor.
The CT scan or MRI or MRCP is done to confirm the findings seen on an ultrasonography.

Please go ahead with the CT scan ASAP to get a diagnosis and initiate a proper treatment.
