Question: Hi I am 33 Year Old, Married 5 years back. I dont have kids. I get semen analysis report which indicating that pus cells 12-14/HPF with an impressionism NORMOSPERMIA WITH EVIDENCE OF INFECTION. I need guidance on further consultation. (Whoom to meet (Doctor with specialization) how much time it will take to get the normal. I would appreciate your reply to make me to understand the reasons for the above mentioned

1) Infection in semen is because there are more pus cells (12-14/HPF).

2) You need to get semen culture and sensitivity test done in the same laboratory where you got your semen analysis done.

3) This test will show the organism responsible for infection and which antibiotics would be effective in treating the same.

4) After the report you can meet a urologist who will prescribe you suitable antibiotics for treating the infection.

5) Other than infection your report is excellent and needs no treatment.
