Brief Answer:
Symptoms like decreased feeding and activity should be monitored

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I Can understand your concerns.

If blood sugar levels are less than 40 mg/dl, then there is hypoglycemia and child needs immediate intervention and admission to hospital if decreased feeding or decreased activity is present.

In your child blood sugar level is 46 mg/dl so you have to keep a watch on symptoms like decreased feeding, decreased activity. If these symptoms are present then immediately take child to hospital for re-examination.

Repeat blood sugar levels should be done after 12 hours. If low blood sugar levels persist then also child needs admission.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.
