Brief Answer:
Fluid reports are very important in treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your follow up question on HCM.
You are having moderate pleural effusion and given antibiotic (Amoxicillin and clavulinic acid).
Moderate pleural effusion is mostly infective in origin.
Infective etiology is commonly
1. Tuberculosis
2. Bacterial pneumonia.
We can differentiate these two only on the basis of fluid reports.
So fluid reports are must to decide the treatment and future follow up plans.
If you have done the fluid reports then you should demand for its copy, so that I can guide you further.
Also tell me
1. Which symptoms were you having at the time of 1st x ray?
2. Did you have fever, weakness, weight loss, chest pain etc?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are more suggestive of tuberculosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear; thanks for your follow up question on HCM.
Since you are not having fdver with chills and your symptoms are of 1 month duration, possibility of tubercular pleural effusion more.
Treatment of tuberculosis is of six months atleast.
But you need to have strong evidence like fluid reports favouting tuberculosis , to start anti tb drugs.
So please contact with your doctor and ask for fluid reports. Because this is the thing which will decide future treatment plan.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you better.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
