What Does The Following USG Report After Medical Abortion Suggest?

Question: Hi doctor, wife had positive preg card test and increased betaHCG on April 20. Had consulted a doctor and had medical abortion using mifepristone 200mg oral and misoprostol 800mcg vaginal. USG was not done.
After 10 days of MTP her betaHCG was 230, USG showed endometrium 9.5mm thickness and no products.
After 20 days beta HCG was 65.
Now after 4 weeks, repeat USG showed Trilaminar endometrium.
My questions are
1. Is this ok?
2.Is there any possibility of ectopic since initially the scan was not done.
3.When will she get her next menstruation?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Beta hCG levels normalize 4 weeks after abortion.
Trilaminar endometrium is normal non pregnant endometrium.
Chances of ectopic are rare because there are no such symptoms till now like fainting, acute pain abdomen.

Periods will resume 4-6 weeks after abortion.
