Brief Answer:
Visit your doctor today.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The slight brownish discharge during an early pregnancy is worrisome. This could be due to
1.implantation bleed which is mostly only spotting and last only for few days
2.blighted ovum or missed abortion in which case there will be a longer bout of bleeding and a negative pregnancy test after a few weeks
3. ectopic pregnancy with nonviable embryo and withdrawal bleeding following that.

In this situation, you should get blood test for beta-HCG done along with Trans Vaginal Sonography (TVS scan) to get detailed picture which will be able to guide you to the viablity of the fetus and the position of the gestational sac. Depending on these your obstetritian will be able to guide you to the further course of treatment and management. .
You should visit your doctor today for proper guidance.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
