What Does Strange Odor In Nose And Shaky Hands Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 23 May 2014
Question: About a month ago, I began smelling a strange odor that nobody else seems to smell. It happens about 5-10 times a day now and only lasts for a minute or two and then goes away. In all instances, I ask people around me if they can smell it too and nobody ever does. The only other oddity that I experience is shaky hands which I've had for a few years. I have 2 cups of coffee most mornings but that's it, no sodas or other caffeine drinks at all. This strange smell thing that is happening I don't understand. I'm 42, not overweight and in good health. I never have headaches etc. Any idea what's going on?

Brief Answer:
Not to worry

Detailed Answer:
Dear
I am sorry the symptom you are suffering but I don't see any reason to worry too much.
Anyway I would recommend you to take contact with a neurologist undertake a brain MRI just to explore cranial nerve especially olphactor nerve.
In my opinion it is not a disease it's just a symptom, before starting treatment it is safe to do MRI.
Hope my answer helps you
