Brief Answer:
You are rightly advised for follow up scan.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
Thanks for writing to HCM

I have gone through your findings in detail.

Main finding is mild dilatation of renal pelvis in left kidney. This condition is called as pyelectasis in which there is mild dilatation of fetal renal pelvis in AP diameter.
It is the most common fetal abnormality detected on prenatal ultrasound examination.

You are rightly advised for follow up scan.In many cases,it resolves with the progression of pregnancy. It is important to know about the amount of amniotic fluid.

If dilatation of renal pelvis persists, then it can be managed even after birth.
Baby may need antibiotics and few investigations.Since there is only mild dilatation,we can expect that it will resolve with progression of pregnancy.Let's hope for the best.

Other findings are within normal limit.
There is single intrauterine live fetus with cephalic presentation(means fetal head is towards maternal pelvis).
BPD(Biparietal diameter) and HC (Head circumference) are within normal limit.

Doppler parameters are also within normal limit.

Hope I have answered your question.

You shouldn't be so worried. This is a common finding during antenatal checkup and mostly it resolves with advancement of pregnancy. This might be the reason for taking it lightly by your doctor.

Only watchful observation is required in majority of the cases.Your baby has only mild dilatation in left kidney and it can be well managed. It is good that ureters are normal.

Hello XXXX

Mild pain and discomfort is normal phenomenon during pregnancy. It is due to intermittent contraction of the uterus.
With the passage of time movement of baby increases ,so you are getting strong kicks. It is normal.

Cephalic presentation(means fetal head is towards maternal pelvis)is the most common position of fetus in uterus. It doesn't lead to early labour.

Expected date of delivery is calculated from first day of last menstrual period.Normally expected date is calculated by adding 9 months and 7 days counting from 1st day of last menstrual period.
