Answered by Dr. Rajesh Teli (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
please get your echocardiography done

Detailed Answer:
hello,XXXX,
I am Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
I have gone through your ECG and lab reports.
I would like to know about your complaints, did u have any health issue or you went for routine heck up ? I would like to know whether anytime in past were you hospitalised?Have you family history of heart disease,Diabetes or High BP ?Are you a smoker? Before analysing your reports I need this information.
Your ECG is showing possibility of heart attack in past. Its a possibility,Many a times silent attack is not known to patient, but picked up on routine check up.Hence i suggest you to get 2D echocardiography done, this investigation will clearly show if you had heart attack in past or not.your lab reports are quite satisfactory.
please reply me with all questions I raised with echo report,I will be quite happy to guide further,
My bets wishes
DR.RajeshTeli,MD

I have a history of Angioplasty which was performed a year back since then I have been regularly and periodically getting my tests done. At present I do not have any issue as such however I had thought of getting my ECG done..I am taking few medicines not sure if I have to continue taking them as it is one year past ...such as ecosprin, Prax 20, Consivas 20 and met XL 25...kindly advice

Brief Answer:
you must continue medicines life long.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXX,
So your ECG has given us past information of heart attack for which you underwent Angioplasty.I would like to tell you that heart attack occurs because of total occlusion of any artery supplying blood to heart.Initially fat deposition in the wall of artery leads to narrowing of its lumen and when it progresses beyond 70% there is risk of total occlusion by clot formation over the block.
In your case you had LAD block and was subjected to angioplasty with deployment of stent.medicines like ecosprin and prax are given to keep the stent open.Consivas is given for prevention of newer blocks.so please remember to continue them life long.Met XL reduces demand of heart in post heart attack state.your doctor will adjust dose depending upon various parameters.I request you to get your 2D echo and exercise stress testing done,
My best wishes
Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD
