Brief Answer:
Doesn't look like migraine

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Judging from your description that doesn't seem to be migraine. A migraine attack lasts for 4-72 hours by definition, with nausea and vomiting, increased sensitivity to light. There are cases which may develop chronic headache but that is usually after years of attacks, doesn't start as chronic.

I wonder why did the neurologist ask for a MRI, did he provide any explanation, did he find any abnormality on neurological exam or was it simply to make sure given the persistence of the headache.
If the later case, he found no neurological signs, then I would say there is every reason to be optimistic, the MRI which is the best test to exclude any worrying lesion will probably come out normal. It would most probably be tension type headache which can have a chronic character and is commonly triggered/exacerbated by stress and anxiety.
If there were any abnormalities found then of course there is some reason to concern, regarding possibility mainly of a brain tumor. Unfortunately there is no way to determine that without the MRI result so you'll have to wait.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
