What Does Low Sperm Count Even After Varicocele Surgery Indicate?

Question: hello, I have low sperm count, I made varecocile surgery and took zinc + co q10 + gensing for 3 months and they raised from 6 million to 15 million, but later on after another 4 months I made test and found them to be 3 million, the quality improved but I dont know why the quantity is decreasing. My doctor say that I dont have to care for quantity because quality is more importnant. He didnt ask for hormones test or glandes. can you give me the best walk through to analyse my situation? what tests should I do and the steps that i should follow. I also want to know if there is any supplement that increases sperm quantity and quality. Im 30 year old 3 years married. after varicocile I feel pain in my testicles the right testicle seems to be swollen and it didn't decrease. the surgery was 10 months ago

Hi,

I saw your reports and I understand your concerns about sperm count.

Following is my reply :

1. Varicocele surgery always does not guarantee recovery of bad sperm count.

2. Varicocele surgery has not helped you.

3. Sperm count less than 15 million per ml is bad and chances of pregnancy are very less in such men. Same applies to your situation.

4. Medicines cannot help with such bad sperm count. Pregnancy chances are very less.

5. Best option is to go for ICSI ( Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) treatment to get pregnancy soon.

6. I don't think you should waste as any more time. Please go for ICSI treatment soon.

what is icsi ? the sperm count went to 15 million 3 months after surgery

Surgery has nothing to do with sperm count. It never helped you.

ICSI is test tune baby treatment which is extended form of IVF treatment.
