Brief Answer:
Requires to be investigated further

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thanks for the query.
Liver is of normal size .
Coarsened hepatic echotexture is a sonographic description where there uniform smooth hepatic echotexture of the liver is lost.
This can occur due to number of reasons which include:
conditions that cause hepatic fibrosis like cirrhosis or haemochromatosis
various types of hepatitis ,particularly chronic hepatitis
conditions that cause cholestasis but there is no suggestion of an obstruction to the biliary tree as there is no biliary duct dilatation.
Rarely hepatic lymphoproliferative diseases and hepatic amyloidosis
Further investigations are advised to know the cause.
Take Care
