What Does A White Mole On Thigh Indicate?

Question: I have a white mole in my right thigh. My entire thigh hurts. This mole feels like a thorn is sprouting from my thigh. It is growing from just a feel, to a visible, about 1 cm. up from the skinf. Its diameter is about 1/2 cm. I have a numb pain in my thigh, especially during my daily 1 hr. long walk. Should I see my doctor? I am a very fair skin Hispanic 60 yr. old female. Thank you!

1. It appears to be possible melanoma.

2. Any change in size, color, pain, irritation of a mole should be seen with caution. Melanoma needs to be ruled out.

3. Meet your doctor at the earliest to get a biopsy done. Based on biopsy further treatment can be thought of.

4. If you are thinking it is white, it could be a amelanotic melanoma.
