Brief Answer:
Most possible diagnoses and some advises to recognize them

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

--The pain may be from an ear infection. You need to have your ear checked. If it hurts when you touch the ear lobe that is a sign to confirm that.
--Also the pain may be from the temporo- mandibular joint. You may notice the pain get worse when you bite hard foods, or move the joint.
--The next most possible diagnoses is temporal artheritis. You would be able to recognize this in case the area in the temple its painful when you touch it. In case you have vision changes you should go immediately to the ER because the vision changes may be irreversible.

To feel better I would recommend using Ibuprofen 400 mg every 6 hours.
Put ice and warm compresses to painful area.
Consider seeing an ENT specialist if not better and if worse.

Hope this is helpful.
