What Does A Lump On Lower Back Indicate?
Question: I have a lump in my lower back, it is soft. There is pain, but now it is going up my spine and rib cage. I also found a lump near my sternum which is sore when pressure is applied. Bit worried cause there is something catching in my neck under my jaw when I turn my head. Maybe they aren't related but are all happening at one time. Any ideas?

The most likely explanation is that the lumps are not connected.
The soft lump on your back is most likely a lipoma or sebaceous cyst. this could be confirmed on physical examination and or ultrasound scan by your regular doctor.
The lump in your neck sounds like an inflamed or enlarged lymph node the commonest reason for this would be an infection of the upper airway and chest.
The lump around your sternum could simply be one of your sternocostal joints. these do tend to change as we get older. they can be a challenge at a government level.
It would be beneficial to go and see your doctor who can perform a full physical examination and organised side any necessary tests!
