Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your concern. I would like to gather some more information from you in order to be able to help you better.

--Do you have patches anywhere else on the body?like scalp, concha of ear, elbows, knees, back etc? Or this patch is the only one?
--What are the symptoms associated with the patch?Itching/Burning?
--Is the scale adherent over it OR is it loose?
--Is there atrophy/scaring over the patch?
--Any Pigmentary changes over the patch?
--Can you UPLOAD A CLEAR PICTURE of the affected area, so that I can have a look at it and help you in a much better way?
--Have you tried any treatment?

Scaly patch on the bridge of nose, brings to my mind possibility of Discoid Lupus Erythematosus(DLE). Psoriasis usually spares the face.

Follow up: Dr. Dr. Kakkar (17 minutes later)
- no burning or itching (sore from my constant irritating of it)
- I can peel forever and it returns the same in hours
- it is not loose or soft, ore like an unending crust of damaged skin
- no pigmentation to speak of
- I can try to do a photo but not very good with online photos (could Skype?!)
- forgot to mention 2 minor circular ones on chin
hope this helps. should I contact a doctor about possible lupus? could this also be related to my all over body and joint pain?
- I am taking XXXXXXX amounts of tramadol, NSAIDS and also hip injections of late
