Brief Answer:
What is the diagnosis and what is the antibiotic he's taking?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about what your son has been going through for the past 10days. I am concerned as to what the exact cause of this fever is because 10days makes it a longtime and we need to understand the exact cause for appropriate treatment.

The result sheet is totally fine. The minor abnormalities are not any worrisome and i will not be doing anything specific about the tests. What other symptoms beside fevers is your son having? This would help me generate a list of possible causes.

I hope to hear from you and wish your son well.

Brief Answer:
I will recommend we observe him again!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Augmentin is a good drug for respiratory infections. The symptoms are suggestive of a possible lung infection like pneumonia. Augmentin is well indicated and should be able to address this. Let's exercise some more patience. If we do not have great results by the fifth day, then we would want this treatment reviewed.

Please, encourage him to eat. This is the first and most important medication. He may not feel like but he should put in more efforts because of the expected benefits.

I hope this helps. I wish him well and happy to address any more concerns with you. Keep me updated by the 5th day of treatment.
