Brief Answer:
Low risk profile

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for the query and attachments. I have gone through all of them.
At the outset the weight and blood pressure are just ok but can be improved. The weight has to come down by 5kg. That can improve your blood pressure. I do not mean the bp is high.

The blood tests are fine. The total cholesterol is slightly above normal. I would prefer it to be under 180mg/dl. The LDL cholesterol has increased the total cholesterol. The Liver function is good. The urine report is also good. Coming to the blood sugar control it is up to the mark. DO not bother about eAG.

The TSH is high. I think you better repeat this again after a month. The high cholesterol may partially because of this TSH and sedantary life you may have.
The MPV is also good.

Overall a low risk profile.

Hello Dr. Suma,

I have few issues that i would like to discuss.

1. For the past one year or so, i have had episodes of low glucose.
Example, when i give blood for test, i feel like getting unconscious.
Other instances were: a) after running long distance race (10km) after a long time, i had similar feeling. b) i went to gym after a long time and did some rigorous exercise, felt dizzy. c) i feel very hungry in the morning and almost no energy till i have breakfast.

Could this be related to increased TSH?

2. Did you review the ECG report or should i consult a cardiologist?

Brief Answer:
Pause the exercise

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have seen ECG and it looks good to me.
Events may be or may not related to TSH. I suggest to repeat TSH.
Low glucose is a good observation on your side.
Rigorous exercise obviously cause you dizzy and it can be considered normal. Similarly most people feel they have no energy till breakfast. Have a breakfast bar or a fruit before you set out for exercise.
Exercise be pause for some days and check if you are ok with days without exercise.

Brief Answer:
Oral Glucose tolerance test

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you have episodes of low glucose sometimes it is better to get a gold standard test called OGTT (Oral glucose tolerance test). It would confirm if the glucose metabolism is good or not before food, 1 hour and two hours after food.

I meant was rigorous exercising after gap would make anyone dizzy because of complex hemodynamics. It is also good to check for blood glucose level after an exercise which will help us to know if the muscles are using excessive glucose. If there is a problem we can get other required tests.
