Brief Answer:
Better to do an ultrasound examination to rule out kidney stones.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. Your urine test is normal except for presence of erythrocytes. It can be due to presence of urinary stones. So it is better to do an ultrasound examination of pelvis and abdomen to rule out problems like kidney stones.
Do you have any symptoms like painful urination or lower abdominal pain?
It is also better to run serum urea and creatinine test to know about kidney function. Taking cranberry juice, barley water, potassium citrate syrup in water is good to alkalinize your urine also.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

I have read on the internet that this can indicate terrible things like cancers. I wondering what are the chances of that. I do not have any lower abdominal pain and I do not have any painful urination.

I have also done a blood test but all the results there are 'normal' range. I can supply it if it will make any difference.

There are more results but the form claims them as normal.
Random Urine Chemistry

Albumin (Urine) 12 mg/L
Creatinine (Urine) 21.2 3.5-24.5 mmol/L
Albumin/Creatinine 0.6 < 2.0 mg/mmol

Brief Answer:
Chances of malignancy is very less as your other reports are normal.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

I have gone through your reports. Chances of malignancy are rare as your other reports are within normal limits. Urinary stones or prostatic problems can give such symptoms. So it is better to go for an ultrasound examination initially. If that is normal and again you are getting same problem in urine test then better to consult an urologist to undergo tests like cystoscopy if necessary.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
