What Do The Following Purple Spots On The Legs Indicate?

Question: I have attached a picture of these spots that appear on my leg. any idea what these are?

I have reviewed the attached photograph and they seem to be purpuric spots.
They are seen in a number of conditions like infections, intake of drugs, certain inflammatory diseases and in 50 percent of the cases occur without any cause.
It these rashes are asymptomatic and not associated with any systemic symptoms like fever, bodyaches, joint pains, abdominal pain or urinary problems then no need to worry as it is a self limiting disorder.
Treatment will be symptomatic depending on the symptoms.
