What Do Strange Episodes Of Dizziness While Under Stress Suggest?

Question: Hi
I have been facing a strange dizziness from last 6 months. I fell off the balance and I feel as if there is movement happening in eyes, although there is no spinning. If I lean towards any side I feel that I am getting pulled towards that side. I also have pressure in eyes and fell lethargic. I also feel heaviness in neck sometimes. I consulted many doctors, went for MRI, Stress Echo, ENT, cervical xray and blood tests including B12, D3. Everything comes out to be in normal range. Then doctors suggest me that I am under stress or anxious. But I know that I am not because I live a normal life and worry as a normal person would do. I keep myself mentally strong and remain positive that one day I will get rid of the situation and situation improves but out of the way, without any stress, symptoms reappear. I exercise, meditate but not able to get rid of the situation.
Please suggest the steps should I take further as this is seriously affecting my day to day life.

Brief Answer:
Anxiety issues.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Your symptoms with normal investigations suggest that its all stress induced.
In fact I see a lot many patients with the same symptoms being mis diagnosed as Cervical issues or various random diagnosis.
I would recommend in such case meditation , relaxation exercises initially and if they are not working I prescribe my patients SSRI group of drug like Escitalopram which gives wonderful results.
I suppose you should try to get relief by your meditation and relaxation.
If you get no relief then Escitalopram would surely help you with these symptoms.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Hello Sir

Anti-depressants like Etilaam dont improve my symptoms. My off the balance feeling comes even when I am happy and enjoying with friends. Once these symptoms come they vary with posture and movement. I relax and meditate, I avoid work stress. Its normal to have some work stress which should go with relaxation or enjoyment. But my symptoms come when I am not in stress and dont go even after relaxing or meditation. I have been diagnosed with inguinal hernia, can that be a contributing factor. Also I have decent food habits, still I get lethargic out of the blue. Please suggest.

Brief Answer:
Escitalopram is different

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Etilaam is Etizolam. It is not going to help you with these symptoms.
Escitaopram is SSRI and is different from Etilaam.
I would recommend you to discuss with your doctor to start you on that.

Yes, work stress is common and almost every one faces it. Its just your individual capacity to cope up with that.
These symptoms go away gradually and it's not like that they would not appear if you are having enjoyment.

Inguinal Hernia has no relation with it.

Letharginess you might be feeling either because of stress of because of Etizolam that might be causing you excessive sleepiness resulting in tiredness.

If you have any further query, please ask me.
