What Do Red Spots On The Breasts Indicate?

default
Posted on Mon, 23 Jan 2017
Question: Hello. I'm concerned about a red spot on my left breast that is quickly growing in size. I first noticed it yesterday afternoon as a tiny red freckle-like spot. It is not painful or itchy. I do not believe it is a bug bite. I'm currently vacationing in Mexico. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Most likely infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.

The red patch on your breast looks like skin infection. It could just be superficial or there could be mild infection in the breast tissue also .
There is nothing to worry it is quite common .

I would recommend the following-

Apply hot packs to that area
Wear loose bra don't tighten the area much .
Apply Nadifloxacin ointment locally on the red patch twice a day for 10 days (you may need to get a prescription from a local physician for this).

Let me know how it is after 2 days of application.

Hope this helps
Best wishes
