What Do My Lab Test Results Indicate?

Question: Hello dr. I am taking onglyza for sugar control my hba1c is 5.6 now. And taking iron tablets as my hymoglobin was low. What does my this new report shows. As my rbc is bit high.is it to worry?

Thanks for your query.

As you have taken iron for low hemoglobin, it has now improved to 14.6. That's why the RBC is high. This is not abnormal.

You need to continue the iron for total 3 months to replenish the body iron stores.
