What Do Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test Result Indicate?

Question: I had my last period on august 28th bled for 14 days and since no sign of period. We try to get pregnant but no ovulation test was positive for 4 weeks and now 37 days after no period. I took pregnancy test negative. My period usually comes after 33 days. What can be the reason why my period is late when I am not pregnant

Hi dear and thanks for trusting to us your health issue .

Delay periods while you are trying to get pregnant with negative tests for ovulation can be due to excess stress .
Excess stress can cause hormonal imbalances .
Hormonal imbalances cause disfunctional vaginal bleeding and no ovulation.
Hence be calm and don't use ovulation kits because they cause to much stress. But go for a folliculometry to your follow -up gynecologist to see if you ovulate or not.
How long have you try to get pregnant?
Have you done any examination?
Is your cycle regular?

I Tried since May . I had surgery for endometriosis in april . My cycle was 35 days except last month where i bled after 28 days and for 14 days . I have a 6 month check soon for my endo surgery

Hi dear again.

If you have had an endo surgery and you have tried from May, you should try and seven other months
If during this time you will not conceive than you should contact with an infertility specialist.
Try to be calm ,eat healthy and exercise every day for about 30 min.
