What Do Bumps On Testicle Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 13 Feb 2015
Question: I have a few bumps on my testicle sack on both sides and under my testicals sack. They itch and tingle late at night. My waste also itches as well as the back of my legs and arms were itching im not sure if it was due to dry skin or lack of water. I've noticed them since i started my new job and work overnight 12hours. I washed with sulfur soap and soaked in the tub with a medication that I purchased online but It hasn't gone away. I was tested for HIV, syphillis, chlamydia and gonorrhea recently with all negative results. About three weeks ago. My last sexual contact was about 6 months ago. I have never had any bumps or issues in my genital area prior to this. There are no bumps or irritation on any area of my penis. The bumps seem to come on go for the last three months and my last contact was 6 months ago protected. I'm not sure whats wrong but the tingling feeling makes me nervous because I fear that it could be something contagious like herpes 2.

Brief Answer:
nothing serious is happening

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

This bumps on your scrotum are probably as the result of a blockage of the skin's por and this is completely normal.

Herpes infections are almost always painful ulcers, usually at tip of penis or on shaft so You have no need to worry about them, unless you have had unprotected sex with somebody infected.

To be sure you can make a herpes test in the local clinic.

For dry skin (itching) I suggest you daily lubrication with over-the-counter moisturizer (ointment or cream rather than a lotion) that contains an oil such as olive oil.

Use it at least twice a day especially after a shower or bath. Also try to limit your time in the shower or bath however you should shower everyday. Change your underwear everyday.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
