Question: Hi I have noticed about 6-7 flesh colored bumps on the back of my throat behind the ulva where all my blood vessels are at. I am not sure if they have always been there but I had my physical and dental appointment around August 28 and neither made mention of it. I have no symptoms throat does not hurt and I am swallowing fine. Is this normal to have?

Posterior pharyngeal wall congestion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
I have seen the pictures attached. The red swelling or bumps at the back of throat are due to posterior pharyngeal wall congestion and hypertrophy of mucosa. it is usually due to either a nasal pathology and post nasal drip or repeated throat infection.
Get a xray paranasal sinuses done and take tablet vitamins c once daily. Use hexidine gargles.
There is nothing to be worried about.
The will disappear once the cause is treated.
Any further questions are always welcome

Follow up with the reports.
Take care
