Brief Answer:
Culture and sensitivity test required

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

There seems to be superimposed bacterial infection along with fungal infection.

I suggest you request your gynecologist to take the yellow discharge and send it for culture and sensitivity test.

This test is required to identify the organism causing infection and the antibiotics it is responsive to.

Meanwhile insert antifungal vaginal pessaries available over the counter for vaginal insertion and continue antibiotic therapy.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Thank you Um- I went to the GP on the 10th feeling ill saying I thought I had chlamydia, hence getting the azithromycin. I had slept worh my partner end of April and felt increasingly ill since. The GP's are refusing to tell me what the notes on the swabs are, and keep saying i need a shrink, but one said today the negative result could be wrong. I am concerned about being lied to and bullied by psychiatry as they have been horrid to me about this. I have PTSD but I know my body and obvious swellings and discharges are real. I asked GP today for doxicyclin and she said no. Some time after taking flucanazole i had some bright red bleeding like wound blood and much burning sensation in vagina and itching instead of the usual effect if conforting and soothing that it has on me when i have thrush.

I took a swab this morning to be trsted for chlamydia privately and will know the result in a day or two.

I don't have a gyny referral amd getting one in NHS could take weeks- stuck with GP's who dont know amd are guessing. I am concerned I may end up in a dangerous condition again. I am concerned in case chrinic infection could lead to hysterectomy or death. Are my ovaries getting better or are they dying because I can feel them and in my mind's eye they are pushing out problems. My womb feels weak.
What could happen to me if I dont get treatment?

I am having repeated swelling of lower abdomen and discharging lots of fluid that feels like it is outside my bladder, which i have had before with infections since I was injured a few years ago and my injuries are undiagnosed. (Gastroenterology surgeon on here says I need abdominal MRI)

What antibiotics are you suggesting I continue with becayse the GP's wont give me any. What should I tell them you have said

Brief Answer:
Antifungal vaginal pessaries

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I know the health care system is not great sometimes.

I would like you to insert antifungal vaginal pessaries available over the counter. This will not need prescription. This will help in reducing discharge.

I don't think this will damage your womb or ovaries in long term

Don't worry about it.

Take care
