Question: I have been taking pain med...10 mg daily Percocet and 2 mg globalism. Do not like pain med...makes my mouth too dry and upset tummy. Like suboxone 1/3 strip but scared of mixing anything harmful I have had heart surgery. 71 years old. Quit the oxy two weeks ago. Had spectatular doctor c for over 25 years. She has retired moved to Costa Rica. What is my risk level with sub. It is only thing makes me feel rested and peaceful next day. Thank you

Perocet is known to cause dry mouth as well as irregualrities in bowel movements. If you have been taking suboxone without any problems earlier, chances are that you would do fine even after the heart surgery. However, you would have to discuss about the feasibility with your treating physician.
