Question: Hi, i am finding a lot of tiny white spots on the inner side of my upper lip, just where it ends. They are not visible otherwise but when stretched, they can be clearly seen. there are many such pure white dots on both sides and increasing. what they could be? should i be worried about vitiligo etc?

Brief Answer:
fordyce spots is most likely possibility

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com. I have read your query. I understand your concern. I have seen the attached photograph also.
You have developed Fordyce spots over the lip. These are quite normal structures and are not harmful at all. These are enlarged sebaceous glands which are otherwise not present in this location. It is this prominence of sebaceous glands which make them visible on lips. These are of cosmetic concern only.
If you are really concerned cosmetically then you may get it removed by Radio frequency from an expert dermatologist.
Do not panic , it is not vitiligo.
Visit your doctor so that he can examine you. You can share my opinion with him. I hope it helps. Take care.

Thankyou so much. I just had one azithromycin because i generally have lot of itching in my throat and near ears on and off. After having the medicine, itching started all over the body. Can these be because of throat itching too? Should i continue azithromycin? Its just one dose i had and i stopped. I hope justone dose doesnt have any side effect
