What Causes White Patch On My Penis Head?

Question: I have a white patch on my penis head..its been there for about 3 yrs..it doent irritate or cause any discomfort so i haven't really paid attention to it..but now it doesnt seem to disappear..is it something to worry about what kind of medication do i have to take to make my skin come back to normal..i dont have any other white patch on my body..and im guessing its not vitiligo..since it has not spreaded to other parts of my body

The fact that its been there for 3 years and with no itching, soreness or pain, the condition doesn't seem to be serious. Two conditions which may cause this kind of appearance are post inflammatory hypopigmentation or vitiligo. If it is stable and not worsening since 3 years then post inflammatory hypopigmentation is first possibility. Vitiligo usually increases in size and spreads to other parts. The condition needs to be confirmed first by consulting a dermatologist and treatment is available in the form of steroids and creams which require a doctors prescription.
