Question: I just had my bottom left wisdom tooth pulled yesterday then this morning i woke up and found a patch of 6 white bumps on the tip of my bottom left lip. What could this be? They are not painful i can feel them with tongue and fingers. Please shed some light on this thank you.

Brief Answer:
It could be due to lip biting after anaesthesia.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in.

The effect of anaesthesia ends after 2-3 hours. Due to prolonged numbness some patients develop lip biting. It appears as white bumps. It slowly subsides on its own.
No need to take any medicine.
Apply anaesthetic gel if it pains.
Consult your dentist if it doesn't resolve in 3-4 days.

Hope I answered your query

Wishing you good health
