Brief Answer:
He is having myopic astigmatism.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

Iam Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I went through the history and all the reports attached with the query.

It seems Master. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX is having refractive error in the form of myopia and astigmatism with refractive power of -5.50/-4.0@20 in right eye and -5.50/-3.75@175 in left eye. This indicates he is having myopic astigmatism.
This looks like pathological myopia and there is some amount of ambylopia also as the vision with glass is not showing complete improvement. There is associated alternate exotropia as shown from the old reports.

The treatment as of now is correction by spectacles. This spectacles should be worn always except during sleeping. Not using spectacles can cause rapid increase in the refractive error.
Since he is having alternate squint/exotropia he should focussing or convergence exercises as advised by his previous doctor. He should see the finger or pen held in the hand and should observe it closely to cause convergence and to improve convergence.
Should undergo eye examination at least once in 6 months for evaluation of alternate squint and for estimation of refractive error and correction for it if there is any change.
The diet should include essential nutrients and foods rich in vitamin A like carrot, green leafy vegetables...
The treatment after 17 years means they have told about corrective laser surgery like LASIK which can be done once he reaches 18 years and refraction becomes stable.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

Dear sir,
One of the doctor conducted a test called TOPO test and said something like that "blood is leaking from the veins behind the eye that is reason for decrease in eye sight and complete loss of sight can also occur."
Is this evident from the reports??
kindly help as he is very scared after hearing this.

Brief Answer:
Corneal topo is showing astigmatism.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up query.

Yes you have attached the report of corneal topography and it shows astigmatism of the cornea.
This will not indicate anything like leakage of blood from veins behind the eye and this will not occur in myopia.
In high myopia, the retina can undergo degeneration and this can be prevented by appropriate treatment and it can be detected by routine eye examination which have to be done once in six months in this case.
Hence no need to worry about the leakage of blood..., there is nothing like this and no need to worry.
The corneal topo is showing astigmatism and this is because of refractive error.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
