What Causes Vomiting In A 1 Year Old?

default
Posted on Thu, 19 May 2016
Question: my 19 month old has been vomiting for the last three days, oddly though, is only two to three times a day with no other symptoms of sickness, she's fine right up until she vomits, then perfect again afterwards.

she cries a little just before she gets sick, I assume from the sick feeling, but that's it.

should I take her to our gp?

Brief Answer:
Vomiting

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
A 3 day history in a child who is otherwise OK, is no reason to call the GP just yet.

This could be a mild virus that will pass in its own. However, if the symptoms persist, or increase, or she becomes mor irritable, I recommend consulting with your doctor.
In the meantime, maintain her hydration and jeep your eye on her.
