Brief Answer:
She needs potent medications for prompt relief of the symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

I feel sorry for the pains and discomfort she has had for so long.

Possibilities:-
She has clear symptoms of the hyperacidity in stomach and is suffering from Gastroesophageal Reflux disease causing reflux/regurgitation of the stomach acid into the foodpipe/esophagus straight upto the throat and mouth and early morning nausea and vomiting is due to the acid causing irritation of the digestive tract.

She has got burning sensations at night due to the hyperacidity and heartburn. The pains may due to be the gastric or duodenal ulcers that is actually the denuded inner wall of the gastric lining. It is due to the high acidic environment and the major cause may be H.Pylori bacterial infection.

They have checked her in ER and I don't think there was another possibility of the symptoms, otherwise they must have told you people. And, that other possibilty is the strictures or obstruction of the intestines somewhere.

Investigations needed:-
H.Pylori testing (you may take a script of the test even from your PCP or the Gastroentrologist. just call the front desk and they will fax or send the e-script to desired Laboratory).

Management:-
First of all keep "head board elevators" under her bed to raise her head side of the bed. Don't increase the number of pillows, it will cause her neck issues.

Give her plenty of water to drink. Add Citrucel dietary fiber supplement to aid her digestion and to reduce acid and lipids to some extent for symptomatic relief. Keep it in regular diet.

Don't give her the painkillers anymore. They aggravate the symptoms by increasing acidity especially if taken NSAIDs class of drugs like Ibuprofen.

Take a script for a prescription drug named Dexilant and she will feel much comfort and convenience to get healthy soon.

If she comes up positive on h.pylori, she may get a triple antibiotic regimen for the cure and don't worry it is 100% curable.

Special Care:-
No beverages, energy drinks, caffeeinated drinks etc.
No fast and junk foods, fried foods, refined meat and extra added sugar or salts.
No alcohol, no cigarettes.
