Brief Answer:
Drop in blood pressure!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about what your brother experienced. This is suggestive of reduced a fall in blood pressure as you transition from a supine position to an upright position. This happens because blood runs down under the influence of gravity to the lower part of the body allowing the brain to receive less blood. This leads to body weakness, dizziness, blur vision, etc and would result in him passing out. This is usually common after a long time in this position. Vomiting and pain would make this even more likely. It in no way suggests that he has a disease. Rest and enough fluid intake would be enough to address this problem. Do not get any more too worried about this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
All these are provoking and aggravating factors!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Anxiety which s common with pain, fear, etc can worsen these sensations. At times, sever pain can cause what we term a neurologic shock. It is for him to often get well relaxed and get a sense of what is going on before acting in order to avoid similar events.

I hope this helps. Let me know tif you have more worries that you will like us to talk about at this time.
