What Causes Visible Veins On The Penis?

default
Posted on Fri, 10 Jun 2016
Question: Hey, i have been having a lot of sex during the last few months, 3-7 times a day. One day i hear a cracking sound, or popping sound. It didnt hurt at all, so we resumed the sex. Then the cracking sound happened again, and then a few weeks after, again!? So 3 times in all. As time went on, i began to notice these ring type scars or veins? On my penis. Also, now my penis seems more flexible than before? When its semi errect, it does a wierd bend downwards near the bottom of the shaft. I went to my doctor, and he said i had nothing to worry about, everything seemed normal. Is this common? Will it heal?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts and photographs that you have posted I would like you to go to our previous discussion on this issue answered by me 5 days ago .

The photographs that you have uploaded shows dilated tortuous tributaries of superficial veins of penis and these veins are common to be seen in many individuals and has no significance at all .

The scar tissue that you may have due to previous injury can not be visualized by naked eye but can be confirmed only on Ultrasound Scanning of the penis .

Since you do not have painful erection and no difficulty in penetration of vagina you should not be worried at all .

It seems that your anxiety is bothering you more than the real facts .

I would suggest you to carry on your sexual activities with precautions I have suggested in my earlier reply.

Thanks and Regards,
Dr,Patil.

Brief Answer:
There seems to be some confusion about my answer

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
The scar I had mentioned in my earlier reply is the scar developed in a sheath of Tunica Albugenia a sheath that envelops erectile bodies Corpora Cavernosa after trivial injury. This sheath is beneath the skin hence scar can not be seen with naked eye on penile skin..

I have not mentioned any thing about the dilated veins to be scar at any time during our earlier discussion .

The dilated veins can develop at any time and not due to trauma .They are seen in so many individuals and has no significance at all.

Thanks and Regards.
