Brief Answer:
do laboratory investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX, welcome to HCM and thanks for choosing us. Pulse you have mentioned is generally visible in several healthy people specially in thin people or in athletes. However if you don't belong to either of those and have noticed it now only, I would like to suggest following
1 get an ECG as problems in heart may be responsible behind this.
2 echocardiogram for detailed study of heart
3 blood pressure monitoring.
4 thyroid profile and adrenal hormone study
5 levels of haemoglobin
You need these investigations as visible pulse in neck is because of valve defects in heart. Chances of heart related illness are more if you have family history of any heart disease, or your blood pressure is high. Hyperthyroidism , hyperadrenaline and anaemia can also present like this. So If all tests come normal please don't worry.

I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to hcm or me for follow up queries. I wish you good health. Thank you
